Chinon wine

Red: Cabernet Franc

    • Colour: purple to violet.
    • Nose: red fruit (strawberry-raspberry-cherry) or stewed black fruit (blackberry-blackcurrant-pink), sweet spices (cinnamon-vanilla).
    • Palate: supple and light, or powerful and full-bodied.

Rosé wines : Cabernet Franc - Dry, fruity rosés

    • Colour: from very pale salmon to intense pink.
    • Nose: peach, lychee.
    • Palate: supple, with occasional aromas of rose and red berries or grapefruit.

White: Chenin - Dry whites

    • Colour: subtle, pale gold.
    • Nose: white fruit, quince and citrus notes.
    • Palate: fresh, mineral and floral aromas.

The winegrowers of Panzoult

  • 14 wine estates for a commune of 605 inhabitants*.
  • 350 hectares of vines.
  • 1st May 1960: 1st Panzoult wine fair at "Moulin Girault".
  • 1st May 1968: 1st wine fair in what is now the Cave de la Sibylle.
  • 1982: Purchase of the cellar by the commune and start of work by the winegrowers.
  • 2002: Birth of the association Les Vignerons de Panzoult.
  • 2002-2005: Sculpture of the cellar walls by 3 artists from Tours.
  • 2011: Creation of the Wine House adjoining the cellar.
  • 2019 : Development of the winery's tour route with immersive scenography and the animated film "From Vine to Bottle".
  • 2020 : The Cave des Vignerons de Panzoult becomes :
  • 2024: Development of the Maison des vins with the installation of educational panels.
